From Nonfiction to NFT: Our Digital Storytelling Leap

Over the years, we’ve carved out a path through both academic and fictional publishing—books that examine the cultural mechanics of museums, and stories that humanize those ideas through characters, emotion, and narrative. But the way people read and collect books is changing, and we believe it’s time to look ahead. That’s why we’re exploring a new direction: limited NFT editions of our most meaningful works.
This isn’t a gimmick. It’s a response to something real—our readers don’t just read, they collect. They annotate, display, and return to the books that shape them. In an age where digital ownership is finally catching up with physical value, NFTs open the door to a new kind of collectible: one that’s tied not just to a story, but to a community, a memory, and a moment in publishing history.
What We're Planning
We’re currently developing NFT editions of select titles from both our nonfiction and fiction catalogs. These won’t just be static files—they’ll include exclusive materials like:
- Original illustrations and unused concept art
- Author notes and research materials
- Audio commentary and recorded Q&As
- Access to private community channels and digital salons
- Early access to future publications and limited merch
Some editions may be paired with physical items—like a signed print version or an archival-quality bookplate. Others will remain fully digital, designed to be beautiful objects in their own right: immersive, interactive, and rare.
We’re particularly excited about planned editions of:
- The Art of Curation — with virtual exhibition walkthroughs and augmented annotations
- The Curator’s Secret — with a branching narrative side-story and full visual backstories for each character
- Echo Over the Bridge — where readers can explore annotated map layers of the fictional village
Why NFTs?
Because books are already emotional tokens. NFTs just give us the infrastructure to make that visible, ownable, and even tradeable. They allow readers to support the bookstore and the creative process directly, without middlemen. And they let us reward those who’ve been with us from the start—with verifiable, one-of-a-kind editions that carry real meaning.
Next Steps
We’re in the early stages—scouting platforms, finalizing formats, talking to artists and developers. But if you’re intrigued, we invite you to follow the journey. We’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes updates soon, and opening up waitlists for the first drops.
As always, our goal isn’t to chase trends—it’s to tell stories in the most resonant way possible. If NFTs help us deepen the connection between readers and books, then we think they’re worth exploring.
Stay tuned.
